Halfway, Baby!
Some events come around only once.
And the celebration of the halfway point of a yearlong movie project … I don’t know, I guess that could happen more than once, but are you willing to take that chance? I think not.

We’re (almost) halfway done, baby!
Date: (NEXT) Wednesday, June 30th
Time: Party at 6:30 p.m., Movie at 8 p.m., Party again at 10 p.m.
Location: Take the Cake Café (4035 Hamilton Avenue, Northside)
Movie: “The Philadelphia Story” (a 1940 hilarious comedy. Not to be confused with “Philadelphia,” the Tom Hanks’ movie, which is not really so funny)
We’re having a kickass pot-luck party. The doors to Take the Cake are going to open early for us and we’re celebrating. We’ll eat and drink before the movie and then do it again after. So come for what you can: The before-party, the after-party, the movie or all of the above!
Please: Bring food. Bring alcohol. Bring yourselves!
